Selangor FC will host Sabah FC in the second leg of the 2025 FA Cup semi-final at the MBPJ Stadium, Kelana Jaya, at 9:00 PM.

Selangor FC’s head coach, Christophe Gamel, expressed his disappointment at playing without supporters and wants to dedicate his team’s best performance to the fans.

“This is a big match. We are aware of our own strengths and weaknesses. The team’s spirit is currently at a good level. I believe the players will give their best tonight. Sabah FC is a strong attacking side and they have quality midfielders, but we will still give our utmost challenge in this decisive match,” he emphasised.

He also shared his disappointment about the absence of fans for this crucial game, “Playing without supporters is a little disappointing because football is meant to be enjoyed together with them. Selangor FC has a large fanbase, and they are like the 12th player for the team. We will strive to dedicate a good performance to them, even though their cheers are not in the stadium.”

Regarding player status, Sharul Nazeem will not be able to join the team due to an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury. Meanwhile, Haiqal Lau and Zikri Khalili are in the final stages of recovery before returning to full training with their teammates. The listed Red Giants players today will give their all to lead the team to the 2025 FA Cup Final.

Selangor FC management will always stand behind the players and wish the team success. Let’s go, my Red and Yellow!
